BMW X6 goes updated with launch of its new look version. As usual in a facelift, the changes mostly include the looks with some mechanical upgrades. To start off with, you have the front fog lights high air inlets, and a spiky grille that include the cosmetic changes. You now have the luxury of going for adaptive LED headlamps along with blue aluminum brake calipers and a bonnet with a power dome.

At the back we have a new set of twin LED lights. All this now comes with different shades of Marrakesh Brown metallic, Orion Silver metallic and Midnight Blue metallic. The xDrive 50i model gets new bi-colour, double-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels.

At the interiors, we have the Nevada leather upholstery available in a choice of beige, black, finewood ash grain and aluminum flywheel black with options of more to choose from. Nothing can beat the X6 in terms of cabin space. The X6 is perhaps next only to the Porsche Cayenne coming close.

At the engine, we have a new eight-speed gearbox for both the 50i and the 40d variants. In the 40d, the 3.0-litre turbo-diesel’s 235bhp and 53kgm has been bumped up to 306bhp and 64.2kgm respectively, with the help of a new 3.0-litre twin-turbo motor.

You get all these in option of two packages on the X6. The Innovation package comes with adaptive full-LED headlights, BMW head-up display and BMW apps, while the Luxury package includes special comfort seats with lumbar support, active seat ventilation and seat heating.

The X6 xDrive50i is priced at Rs 93.4 lakh while the xDrive40d costs Rs 78.9 lakh (ex-showroom). You can also check out the likes of the BMW X1 and the BMW X3.
