Now what Sadhguru said is in form of story. You want to know the facts in the story is correct or wrong, this is not the forum nor its possible.
But if you dig deep you can see if stories are true or false. Its like there are many ways to teach someone. I can teach you maths just as 2+2=4. I can teach 2 birds+2 birds =4. I can teach 3 crows+1parrot=4.
Ignore the story but did you know what makes up 4. See if you the number 4, then i need teach how you can count 4.
So its like Get the big picture. Your question now is on evolution. Now you say he dint prove the question.
But what Sadhguru said is see. He said billions of years first life started on earth on water. First was Algae, then coral, then fish, then whale.
Next life started like turtles, crocdiles, snakes. Then life started was earthworm, wild boars, lions, etc..
See point is now you know. Next we all will know all stages of life evolution. I m saying ignore the factual accuracy of the story.
Ok simple you study darwins theory of evolution not just part where man came from ape. That is just part of evolution.
From part where life started from beginning till homosapiens. As for purpose, he said in the start, even planet doesnt know.
Which means in India we usually are very emotional and respect others. So he dint say directly that humans have no purpose. He could have said tree gives oxygen. Animals eat trees. Carnivores eat those herbivores.
Then carnivorous die. Goto Soil. Soil helps grow tree. Cycle repeats. He dint want to bore the audience. Btw this was a multiple choice question.
Imagine if he answered the text book way. Plus he is also human. So dont worry if you still hate his answers. Its like not everyone like Eminem. Not everyone likes Britney. Not everyone likes Lady Gaga.
As for life being born. Bro its like this. He says astronomically-astrologically we can calculate when is the most fertile period a woman will conceive. Yes you say easily after so many days after periods.
That is your method. They use their method. You say why they have to sit and calculate so much. They can just use brains and calendar and find when after periods is the right. But this not the only thing astrologically they see.
A lot of things are seen. Now you dont trust astronomy/astrology. Again you have to dig deep find truth. But ask Sachin or Amitabh if they believe in Astrology. Yes astrology has its drawback but so does science.
But that is because the person who studies right, you know right humans are not perfect. Okay still dint get it. Buy any india calendar or panchang. See when the days rain is indicated in these calendars.
Trust me if 100 days rain is predicted in panchang 90 days you will it rains. Same calculation for humans life experts can but you have to dig deep, find genuine astrolger. And as i said humans can make errors.
So ask a good astrologer. 7 out of 10 predictions he will give correctly. Don't believe me or Sadhguru. These things are as he said 15,000 years.
India was invaded till 1947 itself if you see Mongols, chengiz khan, mughals, british etc. So things was damaged to maximum extent possible. In fact seeing this heritage, richness, technology only all invaders came.

Theory of Evolution Explained Again In Dashavatar
"Mom, I want to become a genetic scientist. I am currently researching the evolution of man, Theory of evolution by Charles Darwin, have you heard of him? " Vasu asked.
His Mother sat next to him, smiled and said, "I know about Darwin, Vasu. But have you heard of Dashavatar?
The ten avatars of Vishnu?" Vasu replied 'no'. "Ok!
Then let me tell you what you and your Darwin don't know. Listen carefully- The first avatar was the Matsya avatar, it means the fish.
That is because life began in the water. Is that not right?" Vasu began to listen with a little more attention.
She continued, "Then came the Kurma Avatar which means the tortoise, because life moved from the water to the land. The amphibian! So the Tortoise denoted the evolution from sea to land.
Third avatar was Varaha: the wild boar, which meant the wild animals with not much intellect, you call them the Dinosaurs, correct?" Vasu nodded wide eyed.
"The fourth avatar was Narasimha: half man and half animal, the evolution from wild animals to intelligent beings.
Fifth, the Vaman avatar: the midget or dwarf, who could grow really tall. Do you know why that is? Because, there were two kinds of humans, Homo Erectus and Homo Sapiens and Homo Sapiens won that battle." Vasu could see that his Mother was in full flow and he was stupefied.
"The Sixth avatar was Parashuram: the man who wielded the axe, the man who was a cave and forest dweller, angry, and not social.
The seventh avatar was Ram: the first rational thinking social being, who practised and laid out the laws of society and the basis of human relationships.
The Eighth avatar was Balarama: a true farmer who showed value of agriculture in the life. The Ninth avatar was Krishna: the statesman, the politician, the diplomat, the Ambassador, the subtle interpreter, the lover who played the game of society and taught how to live and thrive in the adharmic (unrighteousness) social structure.

Our mythology is not completely myth, proven multiple times. In fact, even science is not always perfect but we say its fine.
Did anywhere its mentioned whatever mentioned in Vedas is the ultimate truth and factually correct. It's people's interpretation.
Did Sadhguru tell anywhere whatever he is telling is the absolute truth. No. It's like one scientist says - one theory of evolution. Another scientist says - his theory of evolution.
You are ready to accept different theories of evolution because its science. Which means sometimes one theory is right.
Sometimes both can be wrong. After some years, the a new theory says the old theory was wrong. Science can change theories.
But when someone says in the name of spirituality we expect them to be absolute truth. BTW as i said, Sadhguru never says whatever he says is absolute truth. You don't agree, i a m okay.
Get the concept. Now you want to say fact is incorrect. Good, read Charles Darwin theory. But point is are both saying the same thing.
That is all. Reality is not always what we say. I say you are a creature made of atoms. Some one says your human. Insects see us as completely different.
Get the point. E=mc2. Everything has many different dimensions. Even Science, Spirituality, God. Everything. Nothing is completely comprehensible. Hope you get it. Can we say how many atoms are there in one drop of water.
No we can't. So what you say as Science also has its limits just because whatever it gives proof doesn't mean it is right. Because as i said science cannot completely tell about a drop of water also.
Yes, whatever it says it can prove but again after few years that can also become wrong. Get it. Point is Science also sees just one dimension of anything and that too at that point in time.
It is not complete. Nobody knows anything fully. Not even about one drop of blood. Till today science has not fully understood about one drop of blood.
Even if they understand that is again updated, corrected after few years. So get the point. Nothing is right or wrong. If you din't understand don't say is what we are saying.
Otherwise you are right in your own way of science while Sadhguru is right in his explanations. Question is are you ready to see from their perspective.
As i said about astrology, if you dig deep you will find 7 out of 10 times, a proper vedic astrologer will predict correctly.
Point is you don't understand how? You think how can someone sit and say what will happen. Then why people fail? Why false predictions? Is life predestined? All have to be understood in the context.
It's like do you know there always on earth quakes on earth but does everywhere earthquake kill people.
Same understand Astrology or spirituality has context. Then you can debate whether they are true. But still if you don't believe it works.
