Honda Brio Car Is Now Available at a Showroom Near You

Honda Brio has finally been launched. Yes, the much-awaited small car, the Honda Brio (pronounced as Br-ee-o and means "energetic" and "cheerful" in Italian), is available in the Indian market. The car could well go on to become a hot seller with its perfect package for the new era. It has the best of Honda's technologies to deliver fun and agile driving, fuel-efficiency, spaciousness & safety.

The Car is a result of the company's thorough market survey in India based on the people's driving needs and lifestyles.

The Brio has a four cylinder 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine that powers up to 88 PS @ 6000 rpm. The torque is 109 Nm (11.2 kg-m) @ 4600 rpm. The car offers a mileage of 18.4 km/l, as per test data. It comes with five speed manual gear box.The car is good at low rpm acceleration and a nippy performer that makes it so enjoyable and fun to drive.

Mr. Takashi Nagai, President and CEO, Honda Siel Cars India Ltd. said, "We are delighted to introduce Honda Brio in the Indian market. We have been able to launch the Brio at a competitive price due to our concerted efforts to control costs, maximize production efficiencies and minimize impact of currency fluctuations. And we have achieved this through pure localization – localization of critical components, using local suppliers, local materials, local machines and dies, by localized drawings and our Indian associates."

The car is already open to bookings and with a wide reach of 135 authorized dealership facilities in 83 cities across the country you do not have to wait much longer for the Honda Brio. In fact for the Honda Brio alone the company has completely revamped its network and notched it up higher to ward off any possible competitors. This dealership network could in fact raise up to 143 facilities in 91 cities by the end of the current financial year.

The Honda Brio comes in four variants – EMT, SMT, S (O) MT and VMT in six exciting exterior colours - Energetic Blue, Rallye Red, Urban Titanium, Alabaster Silver, Taffeta White and Crystal Black Pearl.

The Honda Brio comes with a 2 years or 40,000 kms warranty as standard value for all customers.

S MT - Rs. 4.35 lacs

S (O) MT - Rs. 4.90 lacs
