Hyundai Santa Fe Auto Car Review

As of today Hyundai is the most leading car exporter in India and also the largest car maker next only the Maruti. The car falls in the premium category and is available in auto transmission with extra options. The car has a four wheel drive option which is equipped with six speed auto gear option. This ensures an easy and smooth driving experience. The other comfort options are the start button, smart key and one touch operations.

Mr. H W Park, MD and CEO, HMIL, said, “The Santa Fe launched last year has been extremely well received, and the new offering with automatic transmission further improves our value proposition.” The Santa Fe AT is available with 2.2.L CRDi engine. It is the most robust engine in its segment and gives a maximum power of 197 horse power at 4000 rpm. It also has torque of 44.5kgm/1800-2500. The hi-tech engine of the Santa Fe has a line of high tech features that gives maximum performance and excellent control under any road condition. It has a fuel mileage of 11.72 kmpl (ARAI certified).

It has also been awarded the five star safety rating by New Car Assessment Program (NCAP). The Santa Fe is packed with range of active and passive safety features such as electronic stability program (EPS) and anti-lock braking system (ABS) -- with electronic brake force distribution (EBD) to ensure greater driving stability. The six standard airbags and active head rests greatly enhance passenger protection and safety. Since its launch in October 2010, the Santa Fe has received an overwhelming response, till date 1100 units have been sold. The Santa Fe has been awarded “SUV of the Year 2011” by several media houses. The 4WD (AT) Santa Fe is priced at Rs 24, 36,500 (ex-showroom Delhi), it’s available in five colours.

Hyundai Launched The Automatic Santa Fe on Monday. The car is priced at Rs.24, 36,500 as per ex-showroom Delhi. The car falls in the SUV segment.
