Fake Id drivers in Ola Uber System Continues

Yet again, your Cab Ride is assigned to a driver named RAMESH but the DRIVER that came was SURESH – Fake ID drivers in Ola Uber system continues.

Same Old duplicate driver trick in a yet another Ola Uber Cab. The driver, whose name showed in the app was Vishal Parik but Mahadev was the one who came to pick up the passenger.

Here's the story:

It's hardly been 5 days since the last incident where a Ola driver tried to molest a women passenger and seems that news has spread. Only this time, instead of the Ola-Uber and the concerned authorities, seems like the drivers have got the better knowledge of the story.

Yes, we know history repeats itself but this time even history has outdone itself in such a shortest span of time. That too its not even been 7 days since the last incident of Fake Id drivers in Ola Uber System.

This time the Cabbie misbehaves with woman passenger in broad day light at 4.15 p.m. in a busy area of SBM Circle on KG Road in Bangalore. When the cab arrives to pick up  the waiting charges has already begun.

When the 22-year-old woman passenger checked the app and asked the driver he started to abuse, removed his sandals and even went towards her to threaten her.

Luckily passerby interfered and sent the driver away.

A complaint has been lodged with the police station. However, the problem is there is a difference in the name given by the victim, therefore its the same old wine in a new bottle or rather cab one must say.

Just hope this serves as serious warning and hope there is immediate action from Ola Uber and the authorities to ensure that the driver who comes to pick up the passenger and the driver on app is the same.

Passengers meanwhile please ensure to check if the driver on your app and one who has come to pick you up is the same.

It’s simple, if its not the driver you see in your Ola Uber app, don’t take the ride.
