Is limestone (chuna) really helpful for spinal problems?

Spinal or calcium problems.


If its calcium find out how much calcium you need everyday. Just Google.


Then you can google for natural source of calcium. Yes chuna is good but i am not aware of how good it is, how to take, how to get benefit from.


Spinal problem means meet a good yoga guru, not just thinking as spine problems but ensure that you dont get most health issues going forward.


Just learn Sun Salutation or Surya Namaskar. It requires just 6 by 4 area feet place.


Can do morning or evening also.


Even when i am out of town in a relatives place, hotel i can practice.Start off with 4 rounds.


Do 24 surya namaskara. Hardly it will take 24 min. Atleast do for 10 or 15 mins.


Do this for rest of your life.


You will not have any problems with your spine or most health issues.


But hope you have no slip disc or other issues.


Just speak to a yoga guru, get into practice.


For Calcium easy and best method just buy milk powder. Daily men need 1000 mg while feeding women need 1200 mg.

There are also some natural ayurvedic calcium tablets. You can try them but take only the required quantity after seeing how much mg is falling short in your diet. Best consult a doctor.


1kg of milk powder has 11 lites of milk.


Costs 240 to 300 rupees. Buy skimmed or low fat milk powder only.


If you drink milk you can just add a scoop to ensure lifelong no shortage of calcium.


I make a nice banana milk shake with one glass of milk and add 3–4 scoops. That way its tasty as well. Mixes better, infact very very easy than whey or other protein shakes.


Offcourse milk is casein protein and more calories and i have to take 3–4 scoops but i am not looking for lean muscle cuts or shape and my is weight is fine.


Plus i am okay with slow absorption rate of casien protein. Also people with lactose intolerance or gastric people should start with very less, say 1 spoon.


If not adjustable, they should stop it.


If you miss to drink milk, you can just stir in water. You can have a spoon or two just like that.


Easy method and pure low cost method.


Drink lots of water, as its high proteins as well. So constipation and gas can be a issue.
